NYSC Announces Date for 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Camp

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has set Wednesday, November 4, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Camp. The announcement was made in a statement issued by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations, according to multiple news outlets.

Daily Post Nigeria, Punch Newspapers, and Tribune Online all reported the development, with details indicating that the exercise will be held across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The NYSC did not provide further details about the orientation camp in its statement.

This announcement comes as the National Youth Service Corps prepares to commence the service year for a new batch of corps members. According to the NYSC’s timetable, the orientation camps are usually held twice a year – Batch A and Batch B (later split into Stream I and Stream II). The orientation camps serve as an introduction to the service year and provide training to prepare corps members for their duties.

The orientation camp is an important step in the lives of many young Nigerians, offering them an opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to national development. For those about to embark on this journey, the announcement provides a clear date to prepare for.
