Ex-President Jonathan Meets with Ex-Governor Ganduje in Abuja Ahead of 2027 Elections

Former President Goodluck Jonathan welcomed a surprise visitor to his Abuja residence on Wednesday: Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano and ex-APC national chairman. According to Daily Post Nigeria, the meeting took place amidst political maneuvering ahead of the 2027 elections. Just days prior, Jonathan expressed confidence in APC candidates, although he did not specify which ones. The meeting between the two political figures was confirmed through a video shared online. However, the NNPC has not yet provided details about when the facility began operating. This encounter comes as both men are known to have political ambitions for the upcoming elections. Further developments are expected to unfold as the election season progresses.
