Emergency Landing at Abuja Airport After Private Jet Loses Door Mid-Flight

A private jet operated by Triton Aviation faced a close call on Thursday, October 16th, when it lost a door shortly after take-off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) in Abuja. According to multiple reports, the incident occurred on a CL60 aircraft with registration number T7-SEI and flight identification DWC052. The crew declared a ‘Mayday’ emergency and returned to the airport for an emergency landing. The cause of the door malfunction is yet to be determined, but it’s understood that all passengers were safely evacuated. The incident is a reminder of the importance of aircraft safety, especially during busy travel periods like the festive season. Triton Aviation, a reputable Nigerian aviation company, has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
