APC’s Kaduna Rally Faces Criticism Over Poverty and Insecurity

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has delivered a scathing critique of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the latter’s recent rally in Kaduna. According to the PRP’s National Chairman, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the APC cannot rely on public funds and political gatherings to mask their shortcomings in addressing the pressing issues of poverty and insecurity in Nigeria.

Baba-Ahmed’s remarks come amid growing concerns over the economic and security situations in the country. The PRP leader asserts that Nigerians will not forget the APC’s failures to tackle these issues, regardless of political events or rallies.

The APC has not yet responded to the PRP’s criticism.

This criticism from the PRP is significant, given that the APC has been in power since 2015 and has faced widespread criticism over its handling of the economy and security issues. As the 2027 general elections approach, political parties and their policies will undoubtedly come under increasing scrutiny.
